Can you tell we love Florence’s rooftops?

We successfully drank our way through every rooftop bar in Florence during our week vacation.

We had to see which one had the best views of the city, best prices, and best overall experience. On Thursday, after doing some shopping around the San Niccolo and Santo Spirito area, we wanted a nice drink while taking in the Italian sun.

On top of the Continentale Hotel, right off the Ponte Vecchio, is the Continentale Rooftop Bar, which over looks the Arno River and has spectacular views of Palazzo Vecchio. A little pricey, actually a lot pricey, with the cheapest drink at 12 Euro, but the views and comfy cushy seats make it a great spot for relaxing and taking in the views.

We ordered some pre-dinner Prosecco and enjoyed having the terraceย to ourselves.

Wishing I owned that apartment across the way and then I would never have to leave.

Enjoying some chilled Prosecco before dinner.
