Some new and different strokes.

After finishing my first piece, I have started on two more! My new pieces have definitely not come as easily as my first (see my last post) so it’s been challenging discovering what style, colors, and brush strokes I like. I’ve gone through many phases with each, and A LOT of paint. I’ve also bought some new tools as well, a cake decorating spatula, 4 inch wide heavy duty paint brush, and sponge brush all to help with trying out new marks, and strokes!

I’m playing more with negative space and large luxurious strokes on oversized canvases. I’ve figured out that I love to make loud statements with simple and colorful shapes. Below are still some work in progress pictures, I’ll be posting more as I go! Ciao!
